Subject: a great night in Deadland
I know, 5 stars for an 1980's first set audience??? This was a great night of music, Jerry on fire all night and the band right there with him. One of the BEST shows I ever attended (out of about 300), I usually hate balconies, but just sat there totally transfixed on the Dead at their 1980's best. They played the fox just about 8 months earlier in a show that started out pretty good, but that just totally fell apart early in the 2nd set. They came back and made it right! Get the 2nd set! This was the last show in a 4 show southern mini tour, The shows started out good in Hollywood, but just got better and better, with this one as the peak!
